Hey guys! Sorry for falling off. Ugly Girls are on hold for now, as I am starting to draw for my graphic novel. The Girls were an exercise to keep my drawing muscles warmed up while I wrote, but that is no longer needed. Enough with writing! 'Tis a new dawn, a drawing dawn.
I'm thinking of starting a new blog for the new drawings, once I set that up I will let you guys know.

I'm flying out to L.A. tomorrow to the premier of "The Hangover Part II" to see my brother's Hollywood debut (he's the asian kid)! I'm very excited. A very late, very strange (even for my standards) looking Ugly Girl today. My first attempt at sketching in Photoshop, which is actually quite a nice way to work.
There will be a long Ugly Girl drought coming, so please make sure you have made the necessary preparations: canning food, weatherproofing windows, repenting, etc. I leave for the Orient tomorrow, and shan't return for a full fortnight (May 5th), so hunker down. Also, please remember to water my plants.

I actually laughed while drawing Ugly Girl 13. Trying to make skinny model clothing fit on her Totoro-like body was just ridiculous. Plus the blissfully vacant stare and her equally blissful smile makes grinning unavoidable.
